The Ancients celebrated as the most sacred day of the year the day that Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, rose and set in conjunction with the sun. They even built massive structures to measure this significant annual event in the heavens. Today is that day for this year August 8, 2010!
So much has been going on recently, new energies arriving, such as the massive gamma ray burst coming from an unknown source (according to NASA) and the enormously massive sunspot which erupted across the face of the sun. Both happened last week! And in that energy, we have the recent solar eclipse which was followed by many earthquakes, most of them on the "Ring of Fire" in the Pacific. Many of us believe that these energies are coming to assist Gaia, humanity, and everything living on the planet in the process of ascension. Conversely, there are those of us falling into fear and worse still, spreading that fear to others. Fear is a destructive force, and it is very important to overcome that force in ourselves and not to spread it to others. It will hold us back if we yield to fear or any negative thoughts or feelings. Consciousness is EVERYTHING. It is extremely important at this time to focus our consciousness on becoming the Light, and on maintaining a positive focus.
Here is a beautiful video released this morning by Patricia Cota-Robles that can help you with this positive focus. It can be used repeatedly like a meditation. It is called "Releasing the Human Ego" What releasing the ego means is to allow your Higher Self to take over and the "Lower Human Ego" to relinquish control over your life.
