Examining past lives can help one to understand the reasons for repetitive patterns in one's life. It is also helpful in understanding why certain things occurred in the first place, who certain people in our lives really are, and why these people are present in one's life at this time. It can explain where specific talents come from, and uncover hidden talents within us. Most importantly, knowing our soul's history helps us to avoid repeating the same mistakes over and over, and to grow as souls.
One of the ascended masters came to Lois in a dream in 1984 and presented her with the Akashic Records, although at the time she did not know what she was receiving. Later, her teachers explained to her that she was able to access the Akashic Records for herself and for others. Lois goes into a trance with her hands on the occipital region of the client's head where past lives are stored. The past lives appear to her as though she is seeing a movie inside her head, which she narrates for the client. Often times wrong conclusions drawn at the moment of death in a prior lifetime cause problems in a current lifetime. Also misunderstandings about events in a past life can cause problems in a current lifetime. Lois sees these events from the perspective of the client's higher self and explains the misunderstandings to the client.
Repressed memories from past lives can be just as damaging as repressed childhood memories from the current lifetime. Uncovering repressed lifetimes is very healing. Some people actually report looking younger after doing a series of past life readings because of the burdens lifted from the soul.
